IF Indiana passes 10 round mag limit how would it effect you? I have wheel guns, a few single stacks, lever actions, shotguns and bolt actions. I have NO assault weapons but will continue to defend those who do. We can't give them a INCH.

Anyway IF Indiana joined the Socialist states would you be left in the cold or are you set to go? Just curious.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    Could be anywhere
If they did that I'd have to start shopping for a new state to live in. I'd have options though while I was getting ready to move.

First, I don't see that happening in Indiana in my lifetime.

Second, I'd go back to carrying my Makarov, or get a .45 Soulstealer.

I've also got 5 and 10 rounders for my ARs. I'd have to get some 10s for my CETME. I only use the fixed magazine and stripper clips on my SKS. So, I think I'd be covered.

No, wait. The tube magazine on the .22 Browning take-down would be awkward.

If it was in the next few years I'm young enough I'd move for sure. My wife can find a job anywhere and honestly I could probably find better work in other places. I'm here because I like it, as well as some family and stuff. Wyoming, Arizona, somewhere like that would be fine by me!

I would have a bunch of 30 round PMags I bought on speculation that one day would make me some money but would now be worthless.:(

So this presumes no grandfathering? First, assuming the Gov pays some form of compensation, that money is going to pacs to throw all who voted for it out of office.

Second, I would become "that guy" at every meeting I have with any government official. I am in small meetings 2-3 times a month which are also attended by several local and state elected officials and reps of national congressmen and senators. 4-5 times a year I am in meetings with the congressmen and senators themselves. At every opportunity I would badger these folks on the issue.

I got into shooting in the very early 1990s. Bought my first AR weeks before the '94 AWB. Back then AR mags were sill cheap and plentiful due to surplus supply. I think I was paying around $6.00 apiece for decent aluminum surplus mage. Of course Glock full cap mags were $50-$75. Maybe why I carried a 1911 for so long.

I highly doubt much movement will occur this time. But if it does, I think full cap magazines will be banned with no grandfathering and no compensation. Can anyone say whether New York or any other state that flat banned mags with no grandfathering paid any compensation? Of course then tfolks could sell them out of state. A national ban would negate that.

How about staying, wage an information war trying to get everyone that voted for it kicked out of office.
And then work on the repeal.

Why don't we just do like New York? Don't ban the magazines, but make it illegal to load more than 10 rounds in one. We'll just ask the bad guys really nicely to comply with our new law so everything's fair.

My final retirement home would change ...... instead of building on our wooded property in Owen county, I'd be moving to Wyoming. Always loved the mountains.

I saw, maybe here?, Illinois voted yesterday on just that, but I don't know the results. 90 days to turn them in or become a felon. NO compensation.
