Kodiak shooting range- South Bend

Stopped by ther today for my first visit. Staff seemed friendly, place was clean as was the air in the range. Seemed a little pricier than I expected. For the range and 3 targets it was $28.

I loved that place when they had all steel targets on the range.

I haven't been there since they shut down the range to "reset the steel" for a year or so.

$28 seems a little expensive.

It was a ball when they had all the steel though.

That does seem high. I believe at the two closest indoor ranges a hour of range time and three targets will set you back $20 apx

I usually go to Midwest in Elkhart and it can be a little smelly at times, and warm. But the wife and I both shoot for less than that.

My usual range is the restoration club in Osceola. I really don't like indoor ranges. But when I need one, I also go to Midwest in Elkhart.

I do need to get over to 2nd A range in New Carslie though.

That's interesting because their website lists the hourly rates as: 1 lane 1 person $12, 1 lane 2 people $18, and 1 lane 3 people $24.

Well that is interesting. I wonder if they haven't updated their rates on line or if I got cheated?

I went there on Friday to pick up a keltec sub 2000 and it's the first time I've been in there since they remodeled.

Looked pretty nice but just like bigtanker, I shoot at the restoration club in Osceola.

I'll be going this Sunday actually if anyone wants to meet up over there lol
