    O.k. that was deliberately deceiving.
    I've been working on a foundation for an R.V. garage (14' W x 45'L x 14'H).
Playing around in the back fill today we found, an ice pick, a plethora of slingshot ammo (nuts and bolts), a knife blade with full steel tang but no handles, and a 1911!

Unfortunately the 1911 is a cap gun...:(
    Still pretty neat though.
It's made of steel, about 3" long, and without a doubt, a 1911, and actually in decent shape for being buried in the dirt for who knows how long.

Wish I could find the real thing...

I'm just looking at the items on my desk and under it, and..... two staplers, a magnifying glass, 3 computer monitors, a laptop computer, a desktop computer, a DC power supply with a long cord, a telephone, a coffee mug, a thermos, and an almost-full jar of Planters peanuts. Then there's a hard had and a pair of steel toed safety boots. And you thought YOU worked in a dangerous environment! :):

Ready my arse. They already have.

I didn't know they had passed it.
First thought when I heard about the "Round-point" law, or whatever they're calling it, was about kindergarten.

Evidently no-one realizes that criminals* sharpen these non-pointy things into pointy things, and then stick people with them!
But, it's against the law...how do they manage to do this?

Good thing you were not working in England. Now days that may have been a capital offense!

Or unexploded munitions. Not something I'd want my shovel to go "clunk" on.

Yea England has a lot of non-projectile-weapons laws already... length of blade, number of edges, serrations, locking-back, etc. they're looking to expand it always though.
