I have ENCORE PRO HUNTER PISTOL in 308 with 15inch barrel.I accidently bought a black powder forearm from a guy.I like a long forarm so I can put a bi-pod on it.The screws arent long enough, has anybody had this issue ? How could I fix ? The screw size is 8-40 TPI, its a bastard size, I tried calling a few screw companies but they dont have that size, they say its a gunsmith specialty screw.I need a 8-40TPI 1 inch long and one 1 1/8 long and one 1 1/4 inches long to see if one of these fits.Any help would be helpful, thanks.

If I remember right there were specialty screws once made for the ML forearms be be used on certain rifle/pistol barrels but I don't think they were widely used.

I'd try a hardware store, or get the proper forearm, trying to find those screws might not be worth the hassle and a new forearm would be way chaper
