I've put new sights on my gun, but they haven't been sighted in yet. I don't want to be trying to move them at the range because it would take up all of the range time. I was wanting opinions on this. What if I put my laser on the pistol and calibrate the laser to be accurate? Then when I get home move my sights to line up with the laser. The laser will be much easier to adjust at the range. Thoughts anyone?

I agree. You can do lots of "get it close" but there really is no substitute for real, actual DOPE for you/your firearm.

Another piece of advice, start REAL close and work your way out.
You want all your shots on paper at least, or you're just flinging bullets downrange.
