Eventually there will be Red Banks and Blue Banks..

    From this past April,
Opting out of doing business with the firearms industry is "troubling" behavior from banking institutions, said Mick Mulvaney, acting director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, during a hearing on Thursday. But he said he has no desire to insert his bureau in the matter.

Its not just banks and if it were only banks it wouldnt be that bad, but there is a bigger picture here. The companies that process payments and control the flow of money are taking sides. What happens when only Liberals can swipe their ATM / Credit Cards at check stands? What happens when only Liberals can use cards at gas pumps... Watch this short Tim Pool VLOG

RMR (Rocky Mountain Reloading) had this same problem, and then the company that handled their online transactions canceled on them as well. For a small online business, this can be devastating.

I love @Trigger Time's comments about the bailout. We need to put pressure on our government to make things happen.

The Liberals are all about fairness and no discrimination... that is until it goes against their beliefs, then discrimination is OK.

This just really chaps my hide. :xmad:

We have got to get rid of Donnelly! We need to get more pro 2A people in power. This is totally unacceptable.

This stuff really challenges the "free market" philosophies that hold that people ought to be free to associate with whomever they wish.

The problem is, of course, under current operating conditions this only goes one way -- against those with whom leftists disagree.

It is a free market, they need to take their business elsewhere. When bank bureaucrats in a viagra induced stupor make decisions to impress some young tattooed barista with their affirmative sensitivity they are accountable only to their superiors or stockholders. The firearms industry does enjoy some protections but financial discrimination isn't one of them unless the company could show that they are apart of another protected group.

These banks will be the ruin of this country. They all mess up the business world with their risky lending and alleged political correctness. Then when the whole thing blows up in their faces like in 2008 they “expect” to be bailed out by us, the tax payers. God help us!

Your caricature doesnt help us because that is not what is going on. The people, stockholder, analyst and CEOs alike are getting together to financially starve 2ndA groups out of existence. Its starting with right wing views and its going to end with right wing buying power. Once you remove a groups ability to socialize and act on an economy, you have essentially defeated them from the shadows.

I use Wells Fargo and the closest ATM and Bank to me is 2 hours away. So if I get a check in the mail... I have to drive 2 hours or use another bank, or pay Walmart a fee to cash it.

and here is another Tim Pool vlog explaining why all these anti-wrong-think TOS violations are going to kill the 2ndA.

I remembered watching a commercial for the "remote electronic deposit". Wells Fargo does have an app for a smart phone that let's you deposit electronically from anywhere! Doesn't mention any extra fees etc. Wells Fargo page is: https://www.wellsfargo.com/mobile/apps/mobile-deposit/

This doesn't sound good. I just opened two more accounts at 5th/3rd Bank which has to do with this industry along with our other business accounts, personal accounts and savings, been with them for three years. Everything was approved all the way
through upper management, not just at the branch.

Yep, It's interesting that some folks want the government to be involved in whom the private banking company's don't want to do business with..

My caricature is based on many years of observation and participation in the corporate world, it's the one I find most humorous, so it's the one I use. Stockholders are interested primarily in rate of return, some like CALPERS, like to try some social engineering with their investments so in that respect you are correct. Not every institution sees things that way though so if you're going to be in a 2A related business, look around, somebody is handling those transactions.

It's tough to put the government genie back in the bottle, where it is now, regulations, brought by government pick many of the economic winners and losers in the world today.
