ZX Gun is looking for an experienced, full-time sales associate to join our team in Goshen, Indiana. We've been growing in the dynamic firearms industry for 13 years and we need help to keep growing!
Responsibilities:
Provide top-notch customer service to walk-in customers.
Answer phones to assist and answer questions.
Use point-of-sale software and hardware to complete transactions.
Learn and utilize legal procedures for firearm transfers.
Stock, clean, and organize the store.
Miscellaneous tasks related to the daily operations of the retail store.
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Previous retail/sales experience
Knowledge of firearms/safe handling practices
Experience using computers and other office machines (including point-of-sale and inventory software)
High level attention to detail and organization
Excellent communication skills
Ability to take initiative
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Store Manager - Full Time
ZX Gun is looking for an experienced, full-time Store Manager to join our team in Goshen, Indiana. The ideal candidate will have previous retail management experience and advanced firearms knowledge. We've been growing in the dynamic firearms industry for 13 years and we need help to keep growing!
Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations of a retail store.
Provide customer service to assist with escalated situations.
Use sales back office software to manage inventory and technical issues.
Analyze market values to assist in pricing.
Communicate with clients and distributors via phone, email, and in person.
Maintain advanced knowledge of firearms industry, products, and legal procedures.
Lead the sales team to increase sales, improve customer service, and maintain a positive work environment.
Act as a facilitator and administrator - work to improve the store on a daily basis through goals, ideas, and procedures.
Collaborate with other employees on larger projects.
Other miscellaneous responsibilities will be added over time according to need/ability.
Preferred qualifications:
College degree or equivalent training
Previous retail/sales management experience
Advanced firearm knowledge/safe handling practices
Technical experience/skills, including: Microsoft Office, email, point-of-sale software, inventory management software, general technical aptitude
High level attention to detail and organization
Excellent communication skills - verbal, phone, written, social media, etc.
Ability to take initiative and creativity to increase productivity and sales.
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment - able to remain calm in high-stress situations.
Short and long term project management skills
Professionalism, leadership, humility, and integrity
