I don't post a lot because I find it more fun to read this forum but there has been some folks on here who don't seem to read a WTS ad completely before they begin posting what they think is wrong or question the seller privately.

There is a WTS ad for an AR-9 that clearly states in the ad that it comes with ENDO/Magpul mags and twice now some one has posted that it is not an AR-9. Google it or youtube it guys. The mags in question have an insert made by ENDOmag that replaces the guts in a p-mag so that you can use 9MM.

    Let the Flaming begin.

It's really a neat idea to replace the mag block. I had to go to Magpuls site on that one. But, yeah, it's been an interesting ad.

This Endomag is a very interesting product. I could get rid of my magwell and have a lower that was much easier to swap uppers on.

Wonder if the Endomags can run with the big dogs in the various shooting sports competitions?

Lots of folks have 9mm AR's that "run 100%," until the timer goes off.

People are willfully ignorant in the gun culture? The gun culture?

They seem to run very well. and simple to set up. Pull the spring and follower out of a P-Mag and replace with the Endo mag insert. I have ran them in an AR 9 with a Binary and so far so good.

Forgive my ignorance, but is everyone saying these endo mag inserts would allow a standard lower to be turned into a 9mm carbine with just a 9mm upper? Or is there more to it than that?

Actually I dont even use a heavier buffer. I just put a 1.75 worth of quarters in the buffer tube and it has worked so far.
This guy has done his homework. Exactly what put me off the 9mm platform was Colt pattern mag prices. Oh, and longer heavier buffers. Never had trouble with a Colt 9mm lightweight I used to own. Colt originally used a unique two-piece buffer to prevent bolt catch breakage.
