In the 2A feel good story of the day, an enterprising young man builds three "guns" out of scrap wood and metal and sells them at a gun buyback for $300 to buy a real gun.

Man Sells Junk Guns To Buy-Back Program, Buys New Gun With Cash

YouTube pulled the video that he made to document his adventure.

And so I’d like to congratulate the Democrats who came up with this program. Not only did I get some hefty police overtime, but they helped ensure that broken guns came off the street… and some sexy new pistols made it back onto them.

I was in Seattle WA back in the late 80's stationed at Ft Lewis, Seattle at the time did a $100 per rifle no questions or quantity asked at that time buy back and I heard a FFL dealer bought some $49.99 SKS rifles and turned them in for the quick cash.

Hmmm... Guaranteed double his money immediately or wait 30 years and somehow guess the price will rise by 7x (few did). He has no reason to complain.
