Internet vendor, 24 hours from order to pick up

I ordered a handgun from an internet vendor yesterday at 2 PM.
I assumed I would get it maybe Tuesday given the weekend and weather delays.
I got an email that it had shipped from Shreveport, LA at 11:23 last night.
It was delivered to my FFL at 12:10 this afternoon.
I picked it up at 2 PM today, exactly 24 hours after I ordered it.

Now that's customer service.

I've been eyeballing some potential new purchases, and centerfire guns seems to have really aggressive pricing on some of the things I'm interested in. I may have to give them a try.

I've used them in the past and had a good experience as well, though not overnight like the OP. Still, I can recommend them, Grabagun, KYgunCO, sportsmasoutdoorsuperstore and Bud's, all of which I've ordered from with good experiences.

Don't they typically ship firearms "overnight" due to the increased scrutiny those packages receive?

The shipping wasn't extraordinary, all my gun purchases have shipped as next day air. It was impressive that the vendor processed the order and got it on a UPS flight within 10 hours of the order being placed.
Centerfire Guns has a policy of shipping within 1 business day after FFL verification on in stock guns. My FFL was already verified and the gun was in stock.

wow that is awesome. Last gun I had shipped from Carmel to Columbus took a over a week... That's what I get for being busy and lazy and not wanting to take the 3 hours to drive there and back.
