For those not familiar with this show, you will not see a lot of tables covered with dozens of new guns. There will be a good supply of new ones but a large percentage will be older to mid-life used guns. I always see at least a few S&W revolvers I want to take home, cool bolt and lever guns and, yes, some neat ARs and AKs.

And I am told the biscuits and gravy are better than bad, they're good.

I never get there in time for biscuits and gravy. I will again try to do so this year. Also going to tote along a Mossberg 930 to trade or sell I think. Maybe a few handguns as trade bait.

I could help with your accent...You'd fit right in....

I grew up next door to a family straight outta the hills of Tennessee. Still remember them butchering hogs in their basement, and the mom would render down the lard in a big cast iron kettle over a fire in the back yard. She also made her own lye soap. You'd be surprised how easily I can slip into that accent. :):

    Here, I'll help too.
    First, it's ah-bout not a-boot.
Second, quit with that hoser nonsense.
Third, what's with all that eh noise? Quit that too.
That's enough with the language lessons for today.
    :p

May try to make it, got some stuff taking up space that might be good for trading.

Pshaw... y'all know that "about" is a one syllable word. It's pronounced 'bout. The a is silent. For example, "I 'member it was nigh 'bout 20 years ago, down the road a piece, when I come up on this ol' boy..." :):

I went and had a great time. Pretty crowded but par for that venue. Some decent prices but not a single S&W revolver under $550. Even with the crowd dealers seemed willing to, well, deal. I looked at a new model 18 and before I could scoff at the lock, the dealer dropped it from $700 to $625 right out of the gate.

I spent about 2.5 hours there and considered it a pleasant day. Unfortunately the few things I was interested in were overpriced.

Any mil-surps? Cheap AR mags? Ammo prices?

One guy had PSA AR mags for $15 each (no thanks).

I did find some Romanian 7.92mm. Guy opened a crate containing two sealed spam cans with 340 rounds for $140 per can.

I bought a can, took it home and opened it. Beautiful lacquered steel case rounds on strippers in perfect condition. My M98S will be happy.

Saw plenty of older wheel guns, some nice custom flintlocks...looked like the kitchen was busy.

All in all a nice way to spend an afternoon.
