Buy the pistol. Then immediately file a Form 1.

You know that is what you really want in the end, anyway. :)

I’d go with pistol. I had both and miss the pistol. You can always add a folding brace, or just buy the model with one. CZ is also coming out with a micro( if it’s not out yet).

I have had both. Ended up selling the Carbine because I sbr'd the pistol. They are both very accurate. As WizardFitz said CZ released a Micro pistol at ShotShow 2018 but no one has seen one yet. With the type of braces available, the pistol is much more compact and a load of fun. But whatt makes it even more fun is a Binary trigger.

You are a mind reader! :):

The carbine looks sweet too, but the pistol with a folding brace, or SBRd with a stock, looks like a dynamite home defense weapon...

What is this binary trigger you speak of?

I got the carbine and SBR'd it. I liked the longer hand guard and didn't want to mess with having to find a stock after getting the tax stamp, just had the barrel cut down.

I bought the Pistol after shooting another INGO member’s pistol. It was so amazingly accurate. Buy the pistol. I SBR’d mine and love it even more. It is amazingly accurate and ergonomic. I love mine.

I would have to recommend the pistol with sb folding brace. You will also want to get HB industry trigger kit, will make a huge difference in trigger pull. I also love the AK style safety lever as well, original will dig into hand while holding it while shooting. Also if you want to attach a sling I recommend the Parker mountain machine qd attachment points. I love my evo with above mentioned changes/upgrades. I added a Trijicon MRO and works great. Can always file for SBR later on.

Please let me know what you hear about the discounts. My retired marine father in law wants one as well. I am leaning toward the carbine for myself and picking up a pistol barrel after the form 1 clears. I have found a couple of decent prices online for the carbine w/o the faux suppressor.

I have a suppressor on the way and would prefer to shoot pcc matches before that long ass wait ends.
