I haven't been to the range it seems for 2-3 weeks.
I loaded up my upgraded Shadow 2, now SAO with a straight trigger, 10x bushing and some lighter spring work: I've had it for a week and haven't shot it yet.
I wanted to shoot my CZ P-10 against my Bersa PTR9cm to see which is kept/sold.
Also, took the Bersa Thunder Pro XT competition gun.
Was going to have a 9mm time at the range and have been wanting to go all week!
Left the Sig 365 at home since it is cleaned and lubed for selling (sold pending funds this pm).

When I got to the range (Indy Gun Bunker) at Washington/Post Rd: the range was closed for putting in new "tracks" in the range.
It was needed badly, but I wonder how long it will take them.
I trudged back to my car and went home trying to be mature that the culmination of my desires was thwarped.
That took 15 seconds, but still, I was really looking forward to some range time.

On another matter, I got my 14 boxes of .38 special that gmcttr put everyone onto Sunday night!
My Ruger LCRx .38 and especially my "new" Colt Cobra will get a work out!

Off to work: after today, 15 weeks before retirement!

    thwarp(ed)

I was unfamiliar with the word so googled it. According to the Urban Dictionary, I suspect you might have misused the word?

    https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=thwarp

    1. I just don't know how to spell, obviously:
    thwart

    Dictionary result for thwart
    /THwôrt/Submit
    verb
past tense: thwarted; past participle: thwarted

    prevent (someone) from accomplishing something.

"he never did anything to thwart his father"
oppose (a plan, attempt, or ambition) successfully.
"the government had been able to thwart all attempts by opposition leaders to form new parties"
    synonyms: foil, frustrate, balk, stand in the way of, forestall;

    2. Good catch, though!

Indy Arms Company at E 55th St and N Tacoma Ave isn't too far away if you're ever looking for an alternative.

Since I was thwarted in my shooting after the longest hiatus since I've started this journey nearly 2 yrs. ago, I called today to see what "be ready Saturday" really means: I knew it didn't mean Sat.
They are saying Sunday maybe, so I'll not hold my breath and hopefully it will be done by next weekend, but Thursday would be perfect (more normal range day b/c wife gone).
