    Hey, you guys are the experts and will likely have the answers easily. My grandparents were missionaries in Nigeria for 34 years. My mom- the youngest of 5 was born and lived there till she was 14.

    She is writing some memoirs, and would like the info on these two rifles. The second she has listed as a "Bolt action .303" Thats all she knows. The pics are from 1952, and the guns are likely a bit older than that.

    Looks the brass tag from an Armory is still tacked onto the stock of the Enfield.

    I agree about the other rifle. Tube fed .22.

    The scope looks offset to the left side, that and what looks like a lever makes me think it's a Winchester 1895. Lots of barrel past the fore end, those guns had 28 inch barrels.
