On another note, my birthday was last week and Turbo was poking fun at the fact that I didn't buy a birthday gun. Well here a week late is this little beauty. Beretta 21A in .22LR. I've already ordered a set of maple grips and a wallet holster. Primarily a little pretty range toy, but may get some carry time in environments where carry is 100% frowned upon (work).

I have always enjoyed these small Berettas and I've had them in all 3 calibers.
I sold them all (6 total, counting the Taurus versions), but stumbled across a .32 never shot Inox and had to give it a try, since I always wanted an Inox but wasn't willing to spend the extra to get one.
I literally shot a Bullseye with the 1st shot (20').
I ordered some walnut grips for my own enjoyment and use it, as you say, when CC is problematic, or as a backup.
Just for fun, like yourself, I have wanted to get the Bobcat also, but I need to sell a few guns to indulge.
Months ago I shot a member's Walther PPK (or PPK/S, of similar size to the Bobcat), but did not enjoy it at all, and I was interested in buying it at the time.

Those Berettas look like neat little pistols! Not bad shooting with the Tomcat considering the small sights. If I could still see open sights decently I'd like to try the 21A 22lr.

My smallest 22lr is a 1971 PPK/S and it shoots fairly well for me. A 7 and 15 yard target:

First thing I did was paint the itty-bitty front sight with red fluorescent paint.
15 yards!!!! Wow! I would usually shoot small pistols at 20' and might venture out to 30', but 45' is beyond my eyes.
    I wouldn't even see where I'm hitting.
Wonderful shooting with such a small sight radius at that yardage!

That is a good looking rifle. You did a nice job putting that one together.

Huge fan of .22 rimfire. Short, Long all fun, cheap and easy to shoot lots of rounds!

    What isn't there to love!??!?!
