I attended the Wanenmacher Arms Show in Tulsa this past weekend. I had a lengthy list of items most of which I never hoped to see and even hoped less to afford. In the second aisle I found this fantasy item!

Yes, it is a Russian Berdan II bayonet which I had previously pretty much given up hope of ever finding. It fits perfectly on my rifle and was also Sestroryetsk arsenal manufactured.

Later in the day and after much walking and looking I located another very difficult to locate bayonet.

This is a M1862 Dreyse Zundnadelgewehr bayonet. This item is spotted less frequently than Nancy Pelosi with her mouth shut!

That is awesome! A great day for sure.

I have never been to the Tulsa show. How does it compare to the Baltimore Antique Arms Show, or the Louisville shows?

I have not been to Baltimore but Tulsa dwarfs Louisville! There are around 4,000 tables and it really takes 2 days to view it right. Being in the west there is a preponderance of Colt revolvers and lever rifles, but you will always find things you aren’t apt to find anywhere else.

Thanks, that is very helpful. I was already thinking I need to plan a trip in that direction so that I can see the National WWI Museum and the US Army Artillery Museum. I need to plan it around the gun show as well.

The Baltimore show is about the size of the Louisville show, but it is 100% antiques and has a lot of stuff you never see elsewhere. Kind of like you mention about seeing a lot of Western stuff at Tulsa, you see a lot of Colonial, Revolutionary, and Civil War era stuff at Baltimore. You might see somebody with a Brown Bess musket at a show around here, at Baltimore you will see dozens and dozens of them.
