"OFFICIAL" 2019 NRA Annual Meetings "Live Blog" Thread

As done for Indy 1500 Gun and Knife Show, I thought it would be a good idea to start a "Live Blog" thread for NRAAM Indy. Please use this thread for things like:

•Parking, registration updates/issues
•Carry issues in or around the show
•Meet-ups (where you're at on the show floor, in Lucas Oil Stadium, etc.), lunch meet-ups with fellow INGOers, etc.
•Where the deals and free swag are
•Celebrity sightings, autographs, etc.
•Keeping track of the antis activity in conjunction with NRAAM (where are the protesters?)
•Which businesses are anti- (or pro-) gun during the show (who to patronize vs. avoid)
•Pictures, pictures, pictures!

You get the idea...

Let's keep this ON-TOPIC, please so we have only one thread to monitor during the show and I hope to see as many fellow INGOers there as possible! Enjoy the show, everybody!

Dad texted me. He is coming downtown (from the westside of Indy) at Noon. Looks like I will be going to the Exhibit Hall early and looking a Rugers and Smiths.

Look for me, royal blue 5.11 shirt and khaki pants with my JAG bag. I'll be looking at Smith and Ruger collections with my dad . . . and not minding one bit.

I walked across the street to Hudnut Plaza looking for the "Free Speech zone" but didn't see anything.

I would suspect the mommies might be out over the weekend. They generally have to drag their kids and grandkids along to make their group look bigger, but they are in school today.

Saw Chuck Norris at the Glock booth.

Seeing all kinds of interesting 9mm pistol caliber carbines. Might be my next thing I have to have.

Saw a small group of protestors by the state house.

Couldn't understand what they were protesting, they had signs that were hard to read and poor bull horns.

...must have been socialists.

I forgot I wanted to see if Grayguns was at the show and looks like they were, but I didn't get by their booth. Have gotten into P365's (my first Sigs) and I see they have some cool grip modules for them. Wanted to see if they had any at the show.
