    Saw this a while back and watched it. Informative and provides context that is usually lacking in most modern run downs of the history of the 2nd.

    There's some valuable information in that book, but keep in mind that the author, Adam Winkler, thinks gun rights groups are racists. He says today's gun rights movement grew out of Jim Crow laws designed to keep guns from Blacks, and gun rights groups today are looking to preserve gun ownership for whites only. Winkler also says the KKK began as a 'gun control origination' to keep guns from Blacks. He did some respectable research for his book, and he's more honest than most authors of books about gun control, but Winkler isn't a fan of the Second Amendment.
