    I also think it is important to note around 21:30 how Stoner points out how one has the gun design capacity or does not. It is inherent, nature, not nuture. The ability to see in three dimensions exists at birth or not.

    I think this is demonstrated from Browning (OJT with his father) to Maxim (a machinist for his uncle and draftsman) to Mr. Shuty of 3-D printed gun fame. Shuty is a carpenter from Arkansas with no formal engineering training but possesses an extraordinary ability to visual a design (like depth perception in machining).
