Uh-Oh....Extended mag & suppressor in VA Beach shooting

Police Chief saying a .45 ACP handgun with an extended magazine and a suppressor used in the VA Beach shooting. First time I have heard about a suppressor being used in a mass shooting.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Must have been a pretty poor suppressor. And the Chief kept going out of his way to let everyone know he was using "Extended Magazines". Sad deal...

One of the articles also stated it was a "suppressor" and that the weapon was purchased in the last few weeks. If it were a silencer and he bought it within a few weeks I would sure wonder how he got it so fast. Possibly it was a "flash suppressor" or "muzzle brake"?

A suppressor can't quiet a super sonic bullet, only the muzzle report. It'll still make a sonic crack. There are supersonic 45 rounds.

These tragedies could be stopped early in their tracks except for these gun hating employers and their can't have anyone hurt anyone employee handbooks. My employer is based in MA and is super anti-2A. We even have a weapon possession HR hot line. Thank God for the Indiana can't be fired if it's locked it in the car laws.

What got me was the instantaneous call for more gun control.
I know it was expected, but the 2020 Democrats didn't even let the smoke clear from the barrel.

Well, I don't know about you all, but I tried to engage a lefty friend in a civil conversation back in 2015. I'll not make that mistake again. I ended up buying a lifetime nra membership, and I'm saving up to upgrade it for '20.
