Straight Shooter Enterprises will host a Gun and Knife show this weekend, July 6th and 7th, in Seymour.

The show is being held at The Pines Evergreen Room at 4289 N US31.

This venue is south of US50 on US31.

Saturday 9:00 to 5:00
Sunday 9:00 to 3:00

Admission $6

Nice little show today. Had a good mix of old and new I thought (I really wasn't paying attention to the new though.) Lots of wood and steel, milsurp and older sporting guns. Still kind of kicking myself that I didn't make an offer on one Mauser sporter I saw.

Well darn. I learned a valuable lesson today. The time to buy something is when you see it. Went back down to Seymour today and the rifle was gone.

No, but the seller at the show mentioned that he saw someone on INGO talking about a Mauser sporter last night. I told him, "That was ME!" It really was a nice looking rifle. It had been sporterized back in the 50's (K98 converted to .308) and had a beautiful stock with several inlays. Just looked like an old classic hunting rifle. Dummy me...
