So he had a firearm in his back pocket, and the tasing caused it to fire? I really need an expanded explanation of this. Since the rounds went off sequentially it would seem they were ignited mechanically as opposed to all going off at once due to electricity.

OK, watched it again and I had missed that he drew the pistol which instigated the tasing. I guess muscle spasms caused the trigger to be pulled.

Are shotguns not used much in police work these days? It would seem that between the three responding officers I would think somebody would be pointing one at that guy and cap him as soon as he started firing.

I counted about 15 rounds by the police.
He was still kicking and yelling.
Where the H-LL did all those shots go.
OR he is a man of steel.

The first officer holsters the taser and fires six shots. One hits the wall just above the downed man. I assume the other five hit him.

Officer: "Get down on your knees. I'm not going to tell you again!"

*Proceeds to tell him six more times.

I'm not sure what the next step is when someone is refusing orders, but it seems the officer got stuck in a loop of issuing the same command over and over.

I think he was stalling as the other officers got in position before he made any move, that's when he drew the taser. I'm guessing.

The verbal loop is common in those whose training tape runs out. Avoid the verbal loop.

Is it wrong that I'm laughing? Classically stupid perp. "Hey! Let's wait till THREE cops have us in a crossfire and THEN draw our weapon!" I do have to give him props for firing blindly toward taser guy while he was down, and OMG I loved it when he started tapping out. Pure 100% knucklehead.
