Anyone have recommendations for youtube videos to watch that can help me with my overall knowledge of guns ? I'm in a strong need of shooting techniques and how to fix bad habits that no one told me was bad.

Ughh. Watching videos will not improve your shooting. Take a course.

That being said. John Lovell does a good job breaking down the basics in the tube of you.

I think videos can help. It shouldn't be the only thing you do though.

Start with someone that knows what they are doing. Robert for example. Then search him out and take a class.
*NOTE* this is an advanced grip technique. Why start out using something lesser though?

You should also explore the shooting sports. They are inviting and helpful to new shooters.

Spend some time in the Tactics and Training and Shooting Sports forums right here on INGO.

If you're looking for decent gun videos just to watch for more knowledge of guns, the industry etc, check out some of these channels:
Military Arms Channel, Forgotten Weapons, InRangeTV, TFB TV.

Some of them may or may not have videos on shipping tips, but in my opinion these are good channels to watch just for firearms knowledge.

Anyone have recommendations for youtube videos to watch that can help me with my overall knowledge of guns ?

Might as well go deep nerd:

    ►Small Arms Solutions

►My friend Ian at Forgotten Weapons

    ►Midway Gunsmithing

►A myriad of gun history videos on youtube.

I'm in a strong need of shooting techniques and how to fix bad habits that no one told me was bad.

►No video can substitute for a teacher at your elbow. Go to class.

►It is NOT "shooting techniques", it is gun handling that matters.

►Dunning-Kruger is rampant in the gun culture. The only way to conquer it is to go to school.
