We hear a lot of talk about how good some of these builds are in MSR’s. Like.... oh my andysons or PTA’s or Harry’s homemade rifles never have a problem. So since I witness shooters on the range with a lot of jams, malfunctions and case infused bolts, it got me wondering how much usage are we talking. For example, I still shoot a Bushemupmaster from the early days of Maine production that has digested tens of thousands of rounds without one problem Ever. The accuracy on this original barrel has opened up a bit but being chromelined it still holds 2 1/2 ” at 100. So as an informal survey how long does your gun run?

I avoid the cheap ****. They issued me a Colt in the Army, and that's my bottom standard. If it's good enough for the .Gov, it will work for me. More is better, but I won't go to less.
    My definition of milspec.

I buy ammo by the case, no issues with the rifles.
