Are we becoming so jaded/conditioned that this is really just the norm anymore...….:dunno:

My bet is it has something to do with drugs.

I had to visit one of the churches here in Lawrence county a few weeks ago. When I arrived (during the week), the doors were locked tight and had to ring a door bell to get someone to let me in. The lady reminded me a couple/few years ago, there was a shooting (shots fired--don't think anyone was actually shot) in their parking lot, so they've been locking down ever since. I remembered that and they think it had something to do with drugs. And this was out away from town a bit.

Who knows what kinds of business gets done in every Walmart parking lot, all across the country.

I believe what is happening more and more is the fact that urban is moving to suburban. The nonsense that inner cities have been experiencing for years is beginning to spread. The media does not really report inner city violence as much as they do when it is outside the war zone.

I know. After dark just think "Escape from New York" and that pretty much covers it.

The lights draw them in. Spent many a late night repairing the refrigeration systems on Wally's over a 4 state area we covered. You sometimes see the systems sheds on the Grocery side of the building. Some are on the roof. I have some story's.

Yes this crap is all too often drug related. Or someone feels disrespected/slighted over something not even close to being worth a human life.

You have that in Orange County. One of my best friends is a lifetime resident down there and has mentioned more than once the influx of larger city types there. The French Lick casino is in OC and I'll bet that has brought in its fair share of problems.

Unfortunately the enemy is inside the wire...whether they were born here or not. If it wasn't for the 2A it would already be Escape from NY.

Is it too jaded to just say yes?

If so, then it is probably pessimistic of me to predict the trend will continue.

We had one up here in the Fort in the last year. It involved drugs. I heard they added large metal gates to the entrances. I haven't been to that particular Wally World to see the upgrades.

I hope you are using these signs and warnings to prepare my brethren, prepare.

A Dairy Queen on the northwest side of Indy had a similar problem...

Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other. - John Adams

This is why our country is now like it is. Religion and Morality has been bankrupt for years. When Americans lose their Morality they will need a totalitarian police state to govern them because they refuse to govern themselves.

Drugs are a huge problem. This will get worse before it gets better.

All the while, we become complacent while states intentionally break federal laws until it becomes routine. There are even good people among us who believe more illegal drugs in Indiana are better. :dunno:

I am amazed at how many buyers or sellers think Walmart parking lots are a good place to meet.
