So a few years ago I purchased a Shield frame from Ingo that didn't have a safety selector. I swapped over my complete side to this new frame and ever since I've had a frame floating around with no slide.
I found a complete one the other day for a reasonable price so I picked it up. The previous owner put XS big dogs on the slide, but bubba-ed the rear sight by drilling and tapping a new set screw to use as an adjustable rear post......... and it was about the worst thing I've ever seen on a newer pistol.
Anyway, I contacted XS about the possibility of buying a new rear and told them why....... their response? Send us a picture and your address and we will send you one for free!
Absolutely amazing! I didn't expect that at all, but I won't forget it, especially if I like the sights once I get the new one on!
