I used to skeet shoot and dove hunt, so counting shot shells (especially for dove hunting) is probably pointless.

No idea, but I buy 2-3K at a time, more than once a year? I have one G19 with over 30K, and I’ve shot out a 6920 barrel. Back in the day, I went to Thunder Ranch, Gunsite, Louis Awerbuck, pistol courses in one summer, that’s like 4K ? Hundreds of thousands would be my guess especially if you include military time?

I'm going to guess I'm over half a million rounds in my lifetime. From 22lr to 50BMG to many to count if I could actually remember lol. Thankfully the United States tax payers paid for a few of them rounds :D

Heck, I couldn't even give a ball park estimate! I'm 78, been shooting off and on since I was 12 years old. I couldn't even tell you how many I shot (or what calibers) at the last time at a range! I only worry about counting the cartridges I haven't shot (my stash).

    Is this a joke?
Seriously, there would be no way to even hazard a guess.
I got my first .22 before high school, when a 50 round box of .22lr cost less than a quarter dollar, and I could buy them by myself, without parental consent...

I fondly remember turning in glass pop bottles for the deposit, and spending it on .22lr only to burn it all up in one day.
I had a Marlin model Glenfield 60, and it just wouldn't stop shooting, so I didn't either.

As an adult, I have had many family fun shoots where the nieces and nephews would go through a 500 round brick in a couple of hours.
Someone else said it, I would probably have to guess by weight, not round count, and that's just .22lr.

I can't count that high, nor do I care! Currently it's probably 300-400 rds a month. Caliber depends what I'm in the mood for.

Thousands of rounds of small arms. As stated here before me, the tax payer paid for a lot of it, I paid for everything since my Army days.

105mm main gun, under 10. My Gunner days were on M1A1 tanks so I sent dozens and dozens of 120mm main gun rounds downrange.
