Place was pretty crowded from 11am til about 1pm. Had to talk myself out of a 6 digit SP 1 Colt with a 3x Colt carry handle scope. $2200 just seems excessive. I really wanted that scope, but the guy wont seperate them. He thinks the scope is worth $800. No scope box, and no paperwork.
Anyway, did pick up a fairly rare AR 180 full curve steel body 30 round mag. And some odds and ends. Did get to talk to Jeff (Rick), Gary, and Charlie.
Didn't check out the pigeon show. For real, people were walking around with pigeons.
Only problem with the Brownell scope is I have an original box and paperwork for the older 3x. Also have 3 Chinese made repros. They are okay but the itch exists for the Colt marked one.I saw that rifle as well but my Brownells retro M16 scratches that itch pretty well without spending 2K. Brownells is also making a retro 3X made by the original manufacturer if that would work?

Saw a very rare rifle - a Hadar II. Google it for info, I'll bet most of you have never seen one!
Dang....I wish I had known this was going on. I am right down the street.
