New to me, not-a-gun gun

I got myself a Federal Laboratories 1.5 cal 201-z Riot Gun, sometimes called a gas gun. I don't know why, but I've always wanted one of these, now I need to learn how to reload for them. Maybe in a few years I'll get it registered as a DD, but for now my goal is to make and launch some extremely bright parachute flares.

I have always like the look of those, a real futuristic look. So what would you want to shoot to make you register it as a DD ??

It would give me access to anti-personnel rounds: rubber and wooden batons, could fire shotgun shells with an adaptor.

Cool!! I've tried to buy a couple of old flare guns in the past at various auctions but there was always somebody there that wanted them worse than me. Love it!

"Rubber and wooden batons" reminds me of an event many years ago when IPD SWAT took a guy down with a "less-than-lethal" 12 gauge round. Bob & Tom made great fun of them for "shooting a guy with a dildo"! Ah, the good old days!
