Full Auto .458 Socom

Scott has a pretty good channel called Kentucky Ballistics. He loves his big bores. Especially his new .458 Socom AR. This thing packs a punch.

Watch the barrels close in the slo-mo shots. One round makes a full 55 gallon barrel jump an inch or two off of the ground. That's some power.

When .458 socom first became Indiana deer legal, one of the NFA guys put my upper on his lower and we went through a ten round mag. It was pure awesome.

when you could have a slide-fire i did mine with 405gr buffalo bullet hand loads..... it would rock you back a step or 2.....

i load cast bullets in my 458 SOCOM. I have a pile of 325 gr. Gas checked lead round nose flat points that shoot to the same point of aim as 325 FTX loads. I love my SOCOM.

The 7.62x39 was pretty darned impressive when it came to making the barrel jump. That's a lot of energy being imparted to that barrel.
