If you can find any at all the price is going wacko. One LGS in my area has it for $21.99/box of 50 and getting it.

My favorite LGS has bumped it from $9 a box to $13 but he can't find anymore to replace what he sells, so even this price might be one for the history books...

Yes, we are in a full blown panic run on ammo. Prices are crazy. Supply can be hard to find. Been going on for awhile. It is unlikely to get better any time soon with the continuing race riots followed by the election scare and if the Dems win as big as the leftist media is saying the polls predict, then there will be a huge pre gun control legislation panic run.

Still costs me around 13 to 16 cents depending on what I paid for components. Would get even cheaper if I find a 115gr mould and start pouring. I've got enough components to last several years though. Learned my lesson when I finally got into buying my own firearms in 2012 at the age of 26. Started buying low when 2012 died down and started stocking on components when I started reloading in 2014.

I've been stock piling components. I'll be gtg for months. Just ordered in 500 speer 125gr tnt 308 caliber bullets, 2,000 200gr .452 caliber bullets yesterday. Plan on grabbing more components today also.

^^This! I started reloading pistol around the same time when I couldn't find or didn't want to pay sky high prices. It took a while to find components but I was able to slowly get what I needed. I have been keeping up with what I have loaded for each caliber and plenty of components to replenish.

My 9mm with coated lead bullets cost me around 10.5 cents per round. I started reloading way, way back, so my equipment has been amortized many times over. I wouldn't want to be in the shoes of those at the mercy of political whims.

Haven't bought any since Feb. Reloaded about 1000 since then. I think I'm doing about .13/round or $6.50 for a box of 50.
Got enough to keep going for a while still.

This last order of .452 bullets will cost around $10.15 per 50. Still cheaper than buying them.

For my 308 Winchester the 125gr tnt will run around $9.32 per box of 20.

Yep, and here we see the folly of the ENTIRE handgun/CCW industry putting all their eggs in the 9mm basket.

It's not going to get any better, either. The panic buying will continue to ramp up straight into the election, where either Trump will win and the communists will set the entire country on fire, or Biden will win and gun rights will be history in the first 100 days. Either way, this is just the preamble.

Good thing I just jumped back into the .40S&W game again. :D
Rural King can't seem to give those bullets away.
