What's your most recent build, or the most interesting build you've ever done?

What is the most interesting build you've ever came up with or done on your own, or what is the most recent build you've completed? (Pics please!)

These past few years, the more I've studied and understand ballistics, the more I'm leaning towards longer-barreled pistols...especially the in lighter calibers. As a result, I decided to go with a longer barreled Glock 19. Most people will buy a Glock 17 and chop the grip to accept Glock 19 magazines, and simply live with the 'chopped' look of their pistol...unless they send it out to have it professionally done.
I took a different approach and this is the result of my most recent build, a Gen 2 Glock 19 frame mated with a Brownell's Glock 17-length slide and 4.5" barrel, cut to fit the Glock 19 frame, resulting in a Glock 19 'extended' pistol...it's a nice shooter and is very accurate at distances of 21' to 35'.
The frame has a mild heel-reduction (reduced by 3/32") to better fit my smaller hands, the Gen 2 little 'grip-enhancement bumps' were heat-melted and smoothed, using a flat-tipped soldering tool, to blend with the rest of the frame, reducing the overall diameter of the grip by about 1/8".
The front and back straps were then sanded smooth and 'rounded' slighly to better blend with the rest of the grip, and then a mild tree bark stippling applied.
I also rounded the trigger guard and did a mild undercut of the trigger guard, just rounding off the edge where my knuckle rubbed while shooting.
I have about 4.5 hours in the grip work...but it fits my hand nearly perfectly and that's what I wanted.
It sports an Ameriglo (green tritium with orange day-ring) front sight and black Hackathorne rear sight, for improved sight acquisition, and shoots to point-of-aim at 21' very accurately!

    Last 2 I finished up.

Ar9 with 8.5" barrel. Colt mag using a Guntec magwell adapter. Been good so far

16" 556 NOS Bushmaster chrome lined barrel. Went for a retro yet modern stormtrooper look. Shoots sweet

Like that Storm Trooper look...liking that A1 sight system as well...definitely an 'old-skool' look! Sweet!
For 9mm...I picked up a 8.5" Banshee 200 Series 9mm...lovin' it so far so good!

I started my first ar build with a 450 bushmaster upper, LEUPOLD scope, rail, & a mag for $812 with shipping. Indy 1500 was cancelled in march, but was able to hit local gun show and get lower, drop in trigger & a stock for around $250.

This arduous build started mere minutes ago when I took this slide off my 48 and put it on the 43 frame. It was the culmination of seconds of thought and wonder. I'm just glad it's finally finished.

    Medium speed. Moderate drag.
