So I know Colt has ceased production of rifles to civvies. Are lowers still a thing? I remember they use to sell complete le6920 lowers I cant seem to find a Colt lower anywhere for a clone build. :(

Incorrect. Colt temporarily suspended commercial sales to catch up on the M4A1 contract (600K untis) and to catch up on its foreign sales.

It was misreported, deliberately, but the U.S. Media as Colt stopping commercial and LE sales. Gun owners, who are used to being betrayed, got max butt hurt.

    I purchased a Colt M6920 on July 4th for $1,070.

If you are looking for a lower, they are available but you will pay scalpers prices for one. Indeed, almost as must as a complete stick.

Monty is still cranking out the CM4s in Morgan County and they are available. Why not just get a Centurion Arms stick?

Here is the brand new production M6920 that I purchased over July 4th, testing it out with different mags to ensure everything is cool.
