With all the foreign made guns, ammo and components being imported to the states, it brings up a question of lawsuit tracking. If BillyBob hurts hisself with some substandard equipment does the liability end with the importer (should they still be around) or can one successfully sue the Trajikistanian who didn't take enough care to worry about the Americans well being.? Asking for a friend.

3 guesses and the first two don't count.

Dealt with similar questions years ago when I was going to school for tech theatre. I did a lot of rigging (hanging things over people's heads... and lifting people). If a shackle breaks, do you want to call up crosby, give them the PIC code and they can tell you the shift supervisor's name, alloy, date of manufacture, plant, even where the ore came from or do you want to try to sue China?

Hell, most Americans don't care about Americans' well being, just what lawsuits they can afford.
