Wanna talk to the T/C guys mostly.A guy wants to sell me a T/C HOTSHOT RIFLE.He says its a collectors piece because it was discountinued in 2013,I never heard of rifle, its a starter/beginner rifle single shot breakdown . Its a copy of the ENCORE/CONTENDER, BUT A SMALLER FRAME.He is asking 600 dollars because of its scarcity and its a copy of ENCORE.What is your thoughts , do you think its WORTH that in the long run.

Dont really know much about them but a quick search shows they ran about $200 new.

There are 2 of them on Gunbroker right now with plenty of bids. One is at a little over $400 and the other over $500 with over 3 days left in the auction

I'd pass, but I don't know anything about them either.
I have a Contender, with more barrels than I care to admit, but "collector pieces" rarely command my attention.

My firearms are utilitarian, not safe queens.

I sold one to a buddy for $100 about a year ago. Serial Number 23. I really don’t see where there is anything special or collectible about these particular guns.

Discontinued and collectors item are 2 different things. One is a novelty, partly due to unpopularity. The other has value but sometimes to only a small group whose future desires may be finicky.
