Don't worry, the people they are attacking are color blind. Should work fine. As soon as he finds a place to use for the pistol bipod.

Nah, Ruger Charger comes with a Bipod also.

A forward vertical grip on a pistol on the other hand....

Seems like it wouldn't be too hard to have a bipod that functions enough as a grip to get past that. Sometimes the stupid little nuances of the gun laws is laughable, if it weren't so sad.

    +1

I remeber a thread on a MAC forum that was wondering if the front strap thingy (technically a "sling") was considered a VFG on the semi-auto guns. Someone even made mention (jokingly I hope) that the ATF would go so far as to say that you could wet it and then freeze it making it a solid VFG.

One great, but expensive way around dumb AOW and SBR laws...... go full-auto, then it doesn't matter.

That being said, I do not believe that a bi-pod on a handgun is considered an AOW as it's sole design purpose is to be a bi-pod, not a VFG. Therefore the Ruger Charger comes with them legally. Same goes for any handgun that has a magazine in front of the trigger (Tec-9, AR Pistol, The .223 Kel-Tec pistol thingy), as anyone with half a brain can just grip the mag/magwell and use it as a VFG, but since it's primary purpose is to feed ammo, not be a VFG, it is not considered an AOW.
