While browsing FB today I discovered a Mark Helmke is listed as one of Anti Gun RINO Senator Dick Lugar's Senior Staff Advisors.

Mark Helmke is none other than the Brother of Paul Helmke former Republican Fort Wayne Mayor and now the Anri Gun zealot Paid by the Brady Campaign to End Our Gun Rights.

Paul Helmke has served as President of the Brady Campaign/Center to Prevent Gun Violence since mid-July 2006. Prior to this, Helmke was a lawyer in Fort Wayne, Indiana, where he served as mayor from 1988-2000.

Helmke was President of the United States Conference of Mayors in 1997-1998 and served on the Board of the National League of Cities. He is a past-President of the Indiana Association of Cities and Towns and the national Republican Mayors and Local Officials organization. Helmke was the Republican nominee for the United States Senate in Indiana in 1998.

A native of Indiana, Helmke received his B.A. from Indiana University in 1970 and his J.D. from Yale University in 1973. Helmke and his wife, a public school kindergarten teacher, have two grown daughters.

Mark Helmke is very well paid by the TaxPayer pulling down almost 200K Plus whatever other Perks that this Office entitles him to.

The Old Adage that Politics Makes Strange Bed Fellows Seems to be Alive & Well. JUST Another Reason to check a Politicians Voting Record before Pulling that Lever or believing in Blind Trust because of a Certain Political Affiliation. The Anti Gunners are Alive & Well in Both Parties

He has a virulently anti-gun brother, he worked as a reporter for a virulently anti-gun newspaper (Fort Wayne News-Sentinel), and now works for an anti-gun Senator. I don't know if there's direct proof that he's anti-gun, but that would be the way to bet.
