    To All,

    None whatsoever.

I like what Mr. Cain says, but that does NOT relieve him of the process of being vetted like any other candidate.

I haven't followed the whole story but any charges of inappropriate activity should be fairly investigated for any and all candidates.

Just because I agree w/ what a candidate says does not convey upon him/her the ability to walk on water or do no wrong.

Besides, from a purely functional standpoint it is far better to get the dirt out from under the rug now than during the main election.

    Regards,

    Doug

    Muhahaha. Vetted like Obama eh?

Aren't we supposed to vet for things that would make them a poor president? Learn their policies and beliefs? I am seeing nothing but smears and personal attacks against him, and they only started when his numbers improved.

Can you imagine if republicans tried this against the liberal black man? Racism I tell you!

I hope the media will hold Cain to the same high standard they held obama to.
We'll know every last little detail about him if that were to happen.

Who cares about his personal life. Leave that to them and their accusers. Why would anyone pick now to come out and say something about him...Oh right, the whole money thing. I forgot.

I think it's a better match if you put Gloria Allred in a blue tuxedo and a bowtie.

What part? Quoting a Pokemon song, flip flopping and being confused as to what his own opinion is, or his denying that he knew anything about sexual harassment payment agreements and then suddenly remembering?

Seems one of his accusers is having problems remembering if she received any payments for accusations made against employers after her experience with Cain also.

Cain Accuser Filed Complaint In Next Job | Fox News

"Kraushaar said Tuesday she did not remember details about the complaint and did not remember asking for a payment, a promotion or a Harvard fellowship."

It seems like they want to bring up potential issues but when asked for details they all seem to have lousy memories. Why should we believe any of it?

It must be nice to be able to accuse somebody of something but when asked to substantiate it they claim it would go against a confidentiality agreement! Seems that by bringing it up they have chosen to ignore the agreement when it suits them but are unwilling to go ahead a shine a light on the whole thing.

It all boils down to the insiders being afraid of Cain because he isn't one of "them".:noway:

    my latest rant

I’m a conservative and I like Herman Cain, I haven’t decided if I will vote for him. I am quite upset with the allegations of sexual harassment against him. I was once charge with sexual harassment myself for making an innocent complement to a lady with my wife present so I appreciate how little is required to file such an allegation. That is not however the reason for this letter. The reason is that officials of this government have been known for such deeds and worse for the entire history of the country.

John F. Kennedy was notorious for illicit affairs including with Marilyn Monroe. Ted Kennedy was a world class philanderer; Barney Frank’s boy toy was caught running an escort service from the congressman’s apartment. Bill Clinton was publicly accused of and probably guilty of rape, remember the “Bimbo Eruptions” and later had to admit to having illicit relations with an intern in the Oval Office. Oh and how about Anthony Wiener? Yet the fact that Herman Cain may or may not have committed some sort of sexual harassment is receiving more press that all of the above and much more than all of the ideas he has put forth in this political campaign.

Yesterday I read that the Politico is a non partisan political web site (ok you believe that if you wish). The truth is that there are people in our government who will do anything no matter how despicable if it will discount or destroy a black political conservative. , note the Clarence Thomas confirmation hearing where an attractive black female accuser appeared out of no where to disgrace this fine member of the Supreme Court.

Anyone who can read or even watch TV and has half a mind should realize that the issue here is not Herman Cain but what the left will do to destroy a black conservative.

Like I've said before, I don't care if he actually did it...doesn't really matter much to me as that is between him and his wife. My issue is he knows he is running for an office and people will expose dirt if they have it. He knew about the settlements in 2003 (according to Cain in an interview, then again...he can't express his personal opinion so I'm not sure he didn't just say the first thing that came to mind back in 2003) but denies it and suddenly remembers. If you're running for office, you need to make sure you're giving your staff everything they need so they can prepare for whatever dirt gets aired.

As far as the insiders, don't know what they think of Cain because I don't care about bias and slants. If they don't think he is one of "them", I really hope they're thinking "them" as someone with at least half a clue...because Cain would't be one of them.
