‘You’re Going to Do This to Her?’: Wheelchair-Bound Child Sobs as TSA Detains Her for Nearly 1 Hour — Then Released With No Explanation | Video | TheBlaze.com

“It was frightening. I kinda got mad.”
That’s how 12-year-old Shelbi Walser explains her experience going through a TSA checkpoint at the Dallas DFW airport on Sunday. Shelbi, who is wheelchair-bound, was held for nearly an hour after an agent said she tested positive for bomb residue. The young girl was on her way to Florida for a rare medical treatment because she lives with a genetic bone disorder.
“I said, ‘What do you mean? What did you test her for?’ ‘Oh she tested positive for explosive residue.’ Okay… at that point you would think they would test her wheelchair, but they did nothing. Everything just seemed to spiral out,” Shelbie’s mom, Tammy, told KDFW-TV.
The orderal lasted about 45 minutes, and Tammie eventually got out her phone to record what was going on. That’s when she captured Shelbie crying.
“I want to go to Florida,” Shelbie can be heard saying. Tammie was kept away from close contact with her daughter, and the young girl was screened in plain view. One official can be heard speaking gently and trying to calm her.

One day they will hang from the highest gallows those who commit tyranny, and I cant wait for that day. Remember folks, the Nazi's were only doing their jobs, just like the TSA (Trained Sexual Abusers)

I was similarly thinking that this is likely the true reason behind the prohibition of marijuana--if you outlaw the plant you have eliminated the supply of five-stranded hemp rope.

I am right now on a flight back from Boston to Chicago midway. Tsa were now forcing everyone through the backscatter x ray and I as always opted out. For my insolence and lack of conformity they made me stand there for a good 20-25 minutes until they found a male TSA person to assist me. The guy feeding the sheep into the X-ray must have asked me three times "don't you just want to go through the BS machine and get on your way?" Answered no, as an American citizen it is my right to refuse (at least until this one is also taken) and I continued to wait... His answer? Suit yourself

Then the guy doing the actual pat down , after I told him I had gone through this many times before, says "We'll at least your not traveling through Israel ". I said have YOU ever travelled through tel Aviv? He says , no I haven't ... And I said we'll I have many times on business over the past 20 years, and I can tell you that I have always been treated with more respect and dignity as an American, than I am right now, so perhaps you need a new comparison to justify your actions... He says well, I'm just doing my job.... And I just about exploded, but he had already swiped his little latex gloves for explosives by this point so I was "free to go"....

Love Southwest Airlines, Wifi and free bags.. Hate hate hate being criminalized by TSA....

Words fail me. How much longer are we the people going to stand for this kind of outrageous treatment? Most if not all of the "alphabet" departments, organizations, etc need to be done away with!

Yes, clearly repeated anal rape is the solution here. What a measured, classy response, IndyDave1776. Would you say you are usually a rape advocate, or just in this case? What sorts of people deserve to be raped, exactly?

Personally, I've flown 4 times in the past 3 weeks, out to CO and back, then out to NM and back. Each time I flew, the TSA guys made a bigger stink about me not having a driver's license as I was 18 without one. The last time through, they made me go through the X-rays AND patted me down, then bomb-swabbed my bag. Freaked me out and pissed me off.

I havent flown since 9/11 and I will never fly again. But if for some crazy reason I am forced to fly, then I can tell you this, I wont bathe for at least 2 weeks before flying, I will also make sure to bathe in gunpowder before going to the airport along with taking a dozen viagra and wearing a pair of worn out scrubs...

...and have the utmost sympathy for his efforts to keep 'Murica "safe" from Congressional Medal of Honor recipients, the nail clippers of U.S. Soldiers who were permitted to carry their rifles, pistols, and machine guns INSIDE the plane, wheelchair-bound dying leukemia patients, and other such high security threats like this obvious terrorist:
