The Black SphereSinister Source Code in the Obamacare Program!
No expectation of privacy in the source code. Incompetence at it's very best or .gov manipulation?
I'm no longer surprised by any of this.

Ancient "news" that has already been sunk...

News Corpse » OBAMA SCARE: Fox News Finds Imaginary Threat On ObamaCare Website:
"Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy (son of Fox & Friends Curvy Couch Potato, Steve Doocy) posted an article on the Fox News website that purported to have ferreted out what he called a “privacy threat” hidden in the ObamaCare source code. He wrote that “buried in that website’s blueprint (known as ‘source code’) lies an alarming warning.” He further stated, without any documentation, that unnamed security experts worry that “the U.S. government is ill-equipped to handle identity thieves.”
None of this was supported by any actual evidence. Mini-Doocy simply cited as his source a column on the ultra-conservative Weekly Standard website that said…
“Now comes another example of why the website’s reputation is in tatters. Buried in the source code of Healthcare.gov is this sentence that could prove embarrassing: ‘You have no reasonable expectation of privacy regarding any communication or data transiting or stored on this information system.’ Though not visible to users and obviously not intended as part of the terms and conditions, the language is nevertheless a part of the underlying code for the ‘Terms & Conditions’ page on the site.”
This is another situation where you have to wonder whether these people are embarrassingly stupid or brazenly dishonest. There is a reason that this language was not visible. It was deliberately removed with the use of HTML comment tags by the site’s programmers. It was undoubtedly edited out because it was not an accurate expression of the site’s privacy policy. It does not mean that users are agreeing to a secret clause permitting the government to spy on them as Fox News implied. If any of these “reporters” had a fourteen year old at home they could have learned what this is about.
In all likelihood, one of the programmers probably copied a block of text from a privacy policy somewhere else and then edited it by taking out the parts that don’t apply. The Weekly Standard even included this possibility in their article, but then downplayed it with their deliberately ambiguous assertion that “the language is nevertheless a part of the underlying code.” Not really. It’s only a part of some inoperative text that is not a part of the privacy policy and no one is bound by it. Fox News left out this explanation entirely. Their goal is to leave Americans with the false impression that some danger lurks beneath the surface of ObamaCare."

And as for Joe "I'm sorry BP for everyone trying to hold you responsible for your massive oil spill" Barton, Rep. Joe Barton?s stunning ignorance about HIPAA and healthcare.gov » PHIprivacy.net

What we know to be true about this turd they continue to polish is sufficient for me to conclude that the CEO of LifeLock could probably have his identity stolen if he used this site.

What makes me laugh is, that ANYONE thinks that their information is safe online... ever... NOTHING is 100% secure.. Online "security" is an illusion to make you feel safer so you'll continue to use teh interwebz... Data mining takes little to no effort (even less if you use facebook or any other social media...) if someone really wants your information, they'll get it... even if you never touch you internet again.. you've already left your footprint... it now exists forever.. (or until we take that short road to extinction) cry about your precious personal information... it ceased being "private" a very long time ago... and I'm not even talking about the whole NSA fiasco...

One wonders why Ms. Campbell didn't use this explanation.

Think it was Jay Lenno that repeated back the presidents quip about the website can't be expected to work as well or as efficiently as ITunes...why not hire Apple to write the code? They are obviously up to the task. Probably cheaper, on budget and on time too. Hahaha.

Nice try shill. The supposed debunking website is nothing more than a liberal loving anti-conservative hit site focused on attacking Fox News, their biggest threat (for exposing the truth {see my sig btw}). Do look it up, and I'm sure you'll find connections to george Soros. As per the hidden code, I don't care if Doocey apologized or not, the code was in there, hidden or not. Peel away the top layer, and in this case you easily expose the truth. We all know the sight is insecure, but the higher powers probably decided telling the users was not in their best interest.

News Corpse » The Internet's Chronicle of Media Decay: = liberal propoganda

Instead of newscorpse, people should be reading NewsBusters | Exposing Liberal Media Bias, which is a classy sight beholden to nopolitical party.

Saying that nothing online is truly secure is a giant cop-out and bad comparison. There may be bits and pieces out there that can be assembled into an approximation of a profile, but with just a little care the thief will have a pretty hard job finding them all, with a lot of care it won't be possible. Signing up for obamadontcare puts it all into a neat little package, one-stop-shopping for identity theft. As bungled as that website has been, it's reasonable to think hackers will have a field day with it.

Looking through your posts you are not even a fun little libtard troll to play with. At least the other ones that have come and gone fought back some...you just tuck your little tail and run...cmon man don't act like such a coward and stand up for your moronic policies that have been proven wrong again, and again and AGAIN.
