A wasted opportunity if you ask me. He could have given the man the boots by delivering them directly to his throat.

Is this what passes for a jack booting these days? IMPD must be going soft.

Well...that was awfully cruel giving him boots that were too small. J/K

Good for him. Too bad it's always the mean things people do that make the most news.

Damn rookies. Hey Frank, would you please schedule some one on one training time with this officer? I dont think he completely understands the concept of jackbooting...

    Good for him.

Unfortunately things like that, buying a meal, giving a blanket or a backpack for school just isn't news worthy. And its always the good things we never hear about for that exact reason. But get into a scuffle with......

Pfft....this cop, jeez. Giving a man who is clearly wearing brown a pair of black boots!?! Major fashion faux pas there. Kim Kardashians told me so it must be true. Furthermore, he couldn't give him a mans sized shoe? I mean, a 10, come on what is he 9 years old? I bet he bought those in the kids section.

Charitable giving is awesome especially when you catch someone in the act without them knowing. +1 to this LEO and for the homeless man. He probably could've sold those shoes for a few bucks but rather, he gave them to another man in need who they would fit. Cool story all around.

Just great........ Some of those guys are so aggressive that it's difficult get rid of them already! Now here we go "militarizing" the homeless........ Why couldn't it have been sneakers? Those are more comfortable on my neck while I am explaining that I am poorer than they are!

Whoever it was doesn't want the limelight. The department has sent out 2 e-mails trying to get him identified so he can be recognized for his generous act and no one has stepped forward.

Charity in confidence is charity well done.

Besides, why would any want to be associated with those in the limelight?

Nice gesture on the part of the Officer.

BUT, I'm sure SOME yabo will complain that the IMPD needs 'mandatory training' on guesstimating shoe sizes.
