Agreed. We shouldn't be subsidizing the Obamas purchase of the multi-million dollar mansion on Martha's Vineyard. Then again, simply by purchasing it, he's voting against the entire concept that it is in serious danger of flooding.

Nuclear power. The safest, most efficient, most viable power source known to mankind. But no, the hippies took it away from us.

Why even worry about it at this point, real or not it doesn't matter. They won't let us have the solution to the problem so if it is real we're all going to die together anyway.

It's peak absurdity we even have a coal power plant in the US anymore. Our entire grid should have been nuclear 30 years ago. It would have made electric cars make sense.
Agreed on nuke power generation, although I'd prefer Thorium cycle power plants since space is not a constraint as it is aboard ships and boats. That said, with China responsible for 50% of world carbon emissions and only required by the Paris accords to hold at their current level and not reduce their output; as well as India and the developing world responsible for another 15% and only required to slow their rate of emissions not even hold the line, if the "97%" are right it's going to get toasty no matter what we do with our emissions rate. The US, Russia and Japan are already holding at their 1990 levels

I'd like to see a nuke power build out because it is emminently scaleable and we'll need more power to keep ourselves comfy and in cold drinks if we wind up in a warming world. India has about half the world's known Thorium reserves, the US has about 45% of that and in conjunction with Australia and Canada has nearly comparable supplys to India - and that's just known reserves

Michael Mann (creator of the Hockey-Stick global warming graph) lost his libel suit against Dr. Tim Ball and must pay his legal expenses over the last 8 years. Dr. Ball stated that the graph was intentional fraud and that Mann "belongs in the state pen, not Penn State" which triggered the lawsuit. Dr. Ball demanded a copy of all of the original data/analysis used to produce the graph as part of his defense (why wasn't it in the public domain already?) and Mann refused to make it available.

So, why is Mann so unwilling to share the information that is the foundation of the 97% "consensus" in global warming science and apparently willing to pay a multi-million dollar penalty instead? Occam's Razor's conclusion is quite clear here.

**** you very much, Mr. Mann. The last 20 years of global warming fraud, misdirected political effort, social conflict, loss of trust in scientists, and misappropriated resources is on you. Few people in history can claim that extensive a negative legacy. May you die painfully and burn in hell.

The whole climate change scam has done exactly what it was intended to do, make a small group of people and organizations very rich at public expense. It's biggest failure was the bad luck of just hitting it's stride at the beginning of the 08 depression. A lot of people and organizations lost on those investments at that time and now will use any means to get that money maker going again.

Considering how much money is involved, I would have that info locked away somewhere and be hiring bodyguards if I were Mr. Mann. Exposing the fraud would cause the loss of billions.

Interesting that the champion of climate change would be able to make such an investment.

I'd like to see solar cells all over the world converting water to hydrogen and oxygen.
Not to fight against global warming / climate change / Gore's bank accounts but just so that fuel and energy production gets decentralized and cartel control over peoples and nations gets rearranged.
Never gonna happen though. Try it and die.

The great failure of the climate models

Atmospheric scientist John Christy developed a global temperature record of the lower atmosphere using highly accurate satellite soundings. NASA honored him for this achievement, and he was an author for a previous edition of the U.N. report. He told a House Science Committee hearing in March 2017 that the U.N. climate models have failed badly.

Christy compared the average model projections since 1979 to the most reliable observations those made by satellites and weather balloons over the vast tropics. The result? In the upper levels of the lower atmosphere, the models predicted seven times as much warming as has been observed. Overprediction also occurred at all other levels. Christy recently concluded that, on average, the projected heating by the models is three times what has been observed.
