    Dude, you buried the lede.

The CCW holder that fired back was Patrick Ewing.

McCary was arguing with a woman around 8 p.m. Sunday night and, when the woman’s brother, Patrick Ewing, approached, McCary pulled out a .38-caliber handgun and fired three shots at him, Cincinnati police said.

Ewing didn’t get hit, but he did get his own gun and returned fire, wounding McCary in the leg. Ewing had a permit to carry a concealed weapon.

Good thing the shot wasn't a finger roll from in close. Ewing would have missed it.

    Earth and you?
All that damn shooting going on and only hit him in the LEG! Maybe ol' Patrick needs to take some defensive handgun training! Just saying! Although I will give credit where credit is due, good for him!

    Outside the coup
I'm gonna have to give praise to Fox News for putting the story up. A good guy with a CCW defending himself or others happens all the time in lots of places. WE JUST NEVER HEAR ABOUT IT. Maybe a blurb in a local paper or a regional news story if nothing else is good. To hear about it from a national news source is a pretty big deal. Maybe they will start posting more of these things when they happen.
