Pokemon players arrested after bringing guns to World Championships

Sounds like the only thing they had to go on was some facebook pictures and some ambiguous language that was stated without context.

Although I certainly understand why Boston PD isn't messing around, I can also empathize with anyone wanting to take a gun into that city to protect themselves.

    Let the heated discussions begin.

    Also, gotta catch em all.

Seems like some small town kids that made a stupid mistake. Some sarcastic remarks that got them in hot water. Your actions have consequences though, no matter how innocent the intentions. It is not easy to get invited to play in these tournaments and they are very competitive, so I can see them talking about "killing the competition".

On the flip side, if they were there to cause an incident good job on the security team for recognizing the threat and taking appropriate actions without causing an incident.

They weren't charged with making threats. They were charged with "Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, and other firearm related charges." [Source: BPD]

In other words, they were charged with exercising the 2nd Amendment.

Shame on the constitution-shredders who endorse and enforce this tyranny.

It's a fun world out here. They could have applied for an out of state license........

BTW screw those asshats from Iowa. 27 and 18. Someone should figure out the gun laws....Also the douche's posted about killing their competition at the event on Facebook. They referenced Columbine.
I know, maybe they were just trying to rob the convention.
