Waiting for WF - or any bank - to frame it as 'a moral decision'. I could use a good laugh
Doubtful. This was a regulatory-based decision. Operation Chokepoint (see below) has been used many times before to pressure banks from dealing with weapons-related businesses. I've never seen a claim in any of those cases that it was a moral decision.

Friends who own LGS have had to change banks due to this. Banks name escapes me right now but it is a real thing these days.
This has been going on for a few years now as part of Operation Chokepoint, where the Obama administration uses control of financial institutions to help crack down on "illegal" industries like drugs, porn, and weapons. But don't worry, the DOJ has pronounced their program legal.

    .
I've seen folks hurt by that chokepoint nonsense, lost the ability to accept credit cards, so I just pay cash.

The most interesting part, to me, anyway, was that Hogue says Wells Fargo actively wooed them as a customer and only turned them down after Hogue decided to accept their offer of service. WTF is up with that? Non-communication between local branch and upper management?

There once was a time when both the opposition party and the media would have shone a bright spotlight on the executive branch -- of whatever political party occupied the White House at the time -- ordering a dictatorial abuse of the bureaucracy as a weapon to selectively persecute a lawful industry.

The media is now a political entity nowadays. They used to be the ones who kept an eye on whoever is in power. It is really hurting our country more than most realize. The worst example of this is the pass Obama is getting on the money for hostages deal. That would have caused a media **** storm a couple decades ago, resulting in an investigation by independent council.

The press is in crisis at this time.

Someone is pulling their strings, maybe the currant administration agreed not to mess with their crooked deals, if they submit.
