I saw that the other day. My cynical side wonders if this really happened. If it did, I think it's great. My natural-introvert side would have never allowed me to it. Honestly, I probably would have ignored what the guy said and gone on about my day.

Wonder how much cocaine he had to sell to afford an R8.

Good question. I would just need to tell one of my kids that they aren't going to college....and a second kid for the maintenance and fuel.

Wait. Guess who's going McLaren shopping this afternoon and has to have an awkward conversation with all 4 kids tonight!

You guys are missing the point of this thread. Let me splain it.

If you really have White privilege, you're not gonna buy a social justice car.

    Wait. THAT is the point?

I thought the point was to use the drive-through, and not get out of the car.

Well. That can be YOUR point. And it's not a bad one. I 'm just saying the masses of privileged white people shouldn't be thinking an R8 is their dream car.

    This is very confusing.

I thought the privilege meant we can drive whatever the f we want. Seriously. What's the use of privilege if you can't actually do what you want with it.

I'm going to protest this limited privilege as false advertising. I'm totally not getting what I was promised from society.

    Freedom for gimbles. And gimbals.

    Wait.

You do realize that "white privilege" isn't actually about what color clothes you wear, right?

    Wait.

Is "white privilege" about what color clothes we wear?

I mean. If it is, I've been WAY wrong about a lot of this stuff.

Get with the program it's Bowtie Tuesday.

...I'm not sure if that gives me privileges or takes them away... :dunno:

If bowties are linked to white privilege, this world just got WAY more confusing for me.

    1) I don't think I own any bowties.

    2) At least 75% of the men I've seen wear bowties in the last several years are black.

You obviously don't know how any of this works.
