Why because when I go to the La Porte library and the Michigan City Library with my laptop.
    Everything works like before.
When I at home on Comcast I run into all kinds of problem.

I just received an E-mail form comcast.
They informed me that they increased the speed of my internet.
Now it is running like it did about a month ago.

Mom got the same thing this morning. It increased 25% just by restarting the modem. It was noticeably quicker.

I got the same email. Restarted the modem, and got no increase whatsoever. In fact it was probably a little slower according to the speed test I ran. Of course I'm always wireless and was told that in order to get the "advertised" speed I would have to be hard-wired into the modem. Said I was paying for 75 mb/s and would go to 100 mb/s. Speed test said about 15 mb/s upload and about 5 mb/s download. :n00b:

Thank You: I ran the test.

    Internet speed test

    015102050100+

    8.68 Megabits per second

    Testing upload... 24.8

    Mbps download 8.68

    Mbps upload

    Latency: 21 ms

    Server: Chicago, IL

    Your Internet speed is fast

Your Internet connection should be able to handle multiple devices streaming HD videos at the same time.

Nothing like they are claiming. Where is the 90 to 110 Mbps?

Those estimates are based on being hardwired to the modem (with ethernet cable). You won't see those speeds if you're running wireless. At least that's been my experience and what I was told by Comcast technicians.

I received a letter from Comcast.
it stated that my internet speed is increased from 75 Mbps to 100 Mbps.
I run the suggested speed test many times before the letter and now.
The test showed and is showing a download speed of a bit over 50Mbps and a upload speed of 11 Mbps.
