Probably Rokita based on his explanation of the 2nd...and his vote against the 1.3T spending bill. Also...bacon!
Safeguard the Second Amendment
The Constitution of the United States of America and its original ten
amendments is one of the most unique and exceptional documents ever
known to man. The cornerstone of this document is the 2nd Amendment. The
Founding Fathers understood that Americans should be able to defend
themselves, their families, and their homes from others and ultimately
from their government. The 2nd Amendment gives Americans the right to
bear arms, and this is a right we should fight to protect. When
governments take away their citizens’ right to bear arms, it takes away
their ability to protect against those who would harm them. We have a
God-given right to our lives. Gun control does not make Americans
safer, it makes them defenseless. Increased regulations will not stop
criminals, but it will hinder law-abiding citizens from protecting
themselves. As an NRA member, gun owner and hunter, I will fight to
protect the Second Amendment and continue working to stop liberal gun
grabs in the Senate.
Discussion on this topic already happening here (minus the poll).
Luke Messer for me. He's my Rep so he's the only one I know a little about.
May I dare say, any of those three besides Donnelly?
Yes, I got a flyer in the mail from Lamb today but haven't researched him or Rokita yet. The fact they were both at the rally is a huge plus.Have you heard of/from the young guy Lamb, running for Messer's seat?
He spoke at the rally at the state house today and got my attention.
Rokita was the only Senate candidate to attend the rally. He certainly said the right things.
Lamb was fired up. He's only 36, but said he's spent nearly $1 mil of his own money on the campaign.
Another speaker was a 21 year old student from ISU that's running for a state rep seat in Vigo county. It's good to see some young blood getting involved.
Leaning Rokita at this point. We need Mr. Jarrel to guide us on this sort of thing.
