Ha...ha. So fun to watch the democRats eat their own because they are no longer ideologically pure enough. Couldn't happen to a nicer gun grabbing tyrant.

She won the June 5 primary with 44 percent of the vote compared to de Leon's 12 percent

Dianne comes from big money which regardless of the noise further left always speaks with authority.

Too bad really, I was hoping to see that hag gone.
I am torn. She is horrible and it would be nice to see her out of the Senate.

The California Dem Party is endorsing the other guy because she is not progressive enough. I'm not so sure it would be better to have someone further left replacing her.

I'm pretty sure they would vote exactly the same even if the rhetoric moved left; but he would come in with zero seniority and not be a ranking member on any committee...at least for a good while. Eventually this hag will die and the seat will go to someone just like him. :twocents:

I do understand not wanting either of these evils though.

The larger Dem party is going through an analogous identity crisis as what the Republicans are going through.

[I deleted a vulgar pun using "analogous."]

Purity tests are generally a bad idea. Ask a Libertarian about that.
