    57% oppose, 40% support a ban.

Odd that Democrat Party has no interest in “democracy” on this issue.

Note: Gallup defines semi-automaytic firearms as “assault rifles”. Even when the question is rigged they lose.

The latest findings, from an Oct. 1-10 survey, mark the eighth time since 1996 that Gallup has gauged public opinion on banning "semi-automatic guns, known as assault rifles." These types of guns, which reload automatically but fire only once per trigger pull, have been used in a number of mass shootings in the U.S. in recent years.

Just out of curiosity, do they ever mention how they gather a group of people to poll?

Are they buying contact info from somewhere or are they calling random phone numbers? Stuff like that would probably skew numbers depending on the circumstances. That's one of the problems with surveys.

Just making a general statement and question about their data collection, that's all.
